The weather was warm and the breezes had just begun (but weren’t nearly as bad as they’ve been this last week!) and while it may not have even been 78F, they were certain that summer was here. “Please momma, please can we wash your car?! Please?” *sigh* You’d think I’d be happy with a clean car, but if your kids are anything like mine, when it comes to washing the car, they do as much as they want to and then are finished…leaving half the car dirty and streaky. They seem to always want to wash my vehicle and never their father’s. I’d like to think it’s because they live in it more…you know, eat in it, have accidents in it…get car sick in it. They wouldn’t dare do any of that in their daddy’s car…of course, he’d never give them the opportunity. Funny how that works. Ha!
Anyhow, I caved. I, too, was ready to be outside and feel the warmth of the Springtime sun, a misting of water to cool me, and to hear the laughter and giggles of kids…And, oh, how they laughed!
